Norma G. Mileski, age 72, of Gladstone, passed away peacefully at her home early Saturday morning, February 15, 2020.
Norma was born November 30, 1947, in Escanaba, MI, the daughter of Norman and Lorraine (Lafave) LaPalm. She was a 1965 graduate of Holy Name Catholic School. After many years of being chased, she finally gave in, and was united in marriage to Joseph Mileski I on March 14, 1969. They enjoyed over 29 happy years together before he preceded her in death in 1998.
Norma was a waitress at Marcos, a local restaurant in Escanaba, and the Pantry on Mackinic Island for many years. She was a devoted member of All Saints Catholic Church in Gladstone. She enjoyed bingo and making her famous “scrubbies,” making her known as “The Scrubby Lady.” She also enjoyed cooking, baking, and solving sudoku puzzle books.

Sister-in-law: Joyce LaPalm
3 Grandchildren: Joseph (Cecily) Mileski II, Jackquline (Weston Corbitt) Mileski, and Diego Mileski.
1 Great Granddaughter, Stella Mileski
And several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. A eulogy given by Grandaughter, Jackquline Mileski will conclude visiting hours in addition to prayers of transfer. A mass of Christian burial is scheduled for 2:00 PM at All Saints Catholic Church in Gladstone with Rev. Fr. Jamie Ziminski officiating. A luncheon will follow at the Gladstone Senior Center. Norma will be laid to rest next to her husband at Fernwood cemetery. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Mileski Family.
