Mildred Lundin

Mildred Lundin, age 100, formerly of Ogontz, passed away Wednesday afternoon, January 19, 2011, at the Christian Park Village where she had been a resident for a short time.
Mildred was born on May 10, 1910, in Gladstone, the daugher of Charles and Eva (Irving) Tryan. At the age of two years, Mildred and her family moved to Hall, Montana where they homesteaded. At age eight and after the death of her parents, Mildred and her siblings returned to Gladstone to reside with her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. George Keiser. Mildred was raised in Gladstone and attended the Gladstone schools. Mildred went on to attend the Cloverland Commercial College in Escanaba, eventually going to work for Marble Arms where she was employed for a number of years.

On September 7, 1929, Mildred was united in marriage to Glen Lundin, of Ensign, and together the couple made their home and began their family on their farm in the Ogontz area. Mildred
