Rapid River, MI
Michael Patrick Quinn, age 73, of Rapid River, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025.
Mike was born on May 20, 1952, in Escanaba, Michigan the son of Patrick and Leona (Bjorkquist) Quinn. He attended All Saints School and graduated from Gladstone High School in 1970. Mike followed in his father’s footsteps as a bricklayer. He was a 50-year member of the International Union of Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers. He owned and operated Mike Quinn Masonry until his retirement. He proudly built the family home, and his craftsmanship can be found throughout Delta County and beyond.
Mike married his high school sweetheart, Christine Trudeau on October 20, 1973 at All Saints Catholic Church in Gladstone. He passed just shy of their 52nd wedding anniversary.
Growing up in Gladstone, Mike spent many hours swimming at the beach, skating at the Rec, and skiing at the Gladstone Golf Course. In high school, he played football, basketball, and participated in track. Mike was an outdoorsman by nature. He enjoyed hunting, ice fishing, feeding and watching the birds, and spending time at his camp property. He enjoyed watching westerns, the history channel, the Green Bay Packers, and BSing with his many friends and neighbors.
Above all, his proudest accomplishments were his children and grandchildren who meant the world to him. He could be seen at all of their sporting events including, basketball, football, volleyball, soccer, track, softball, and cross country.

Sisters: Patti (Terry) Johnson of Farmington, MN and Mary (Jon) Barrett of Wyoming, MN
Sisters-in-law: Vickie Shampo, Penny (Mark) West, Mary (Terry Weaver) Maingot
Brothers-in-law: Larry (Cyna) Trudeau, James “Kimba” (Colleen Atkins) Trudeau, Paul (Lynn) Trudeau and Gary Englund
And many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.

Brothers-in-law: James Shampo and Gordon Maingot
Family will receive friends on Friday, October 24, 2025 from 1:30 until 3:30 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 4:00 PM at the St. Charles of Borromeo Catholic Church in Rapid River with Rev. Fr. William Ssozi officiating. A luncheon will take place in the parish center. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Quinn family.
