Chase – what can anyone say that hasn’t already been said about your dad. He was a pretty amazing guy. He was very genuine and so friendly, the kinda of person that you could call a friend after meeting him for only a few minutes. Watching him talk about you, his whole face would light up, you were easily the best thing in his life. I can’t begin to imagine how hard losing your dad must be but always remember his love for you and that he will always be with you in spirit. You can talk to him whenever you need too, I’m sure he is there listening even if he can’t talk back.

Mike was a cousin and a good friend of mine over the years. He was the type of person that would give you the shirt off his back even if it was the only one he had. Will always remember hanging out with him and working in the woods with him. Had some GREAT times and i know many others did too. Will miss Jim a lot. Sending thoughts and prayers to his other friends and family and his son Chase who is definitely too young to have to deal with a loss like this:(

Mike, your memory will live on in our son, Chase. Every day I will be reminded of you through his eyes. The hardest thing was telling him you had passed…..and the second hardest thing was putting my signature on a piece of paper directing them how to take care of you. You were my first true love, and Chase’s father…..and for those reasons alone, Chase and I will never forget you…..RIP Mike. To the entire family of Mike’s, and to Cheryl…..know that I’m always here for whatever you need.

I think it was by the Grace of God that I got to see and visit Mike a couple weeks before his passing. I had the opportunity to see him smile once more…his human nature was so genuine. His last words to me remain ever present in mind and I will never forget his politeness and vivid picture of life as he transitions into the ever-after. God Bless all of his friends and family. He will be sadly missed by many.
