Dear Linda, Matt, Holly and extended family

What a man! Whether I was talking to Mike at the ballfields, church or just around town he was also so thoughtful. We served on many committees together at church and he was always thinking of others and putting those people first. Will always remember hearing the hymm #77 when it comes time to make a hymm selection at church. He surely thought the world of his family and those friends around him. He is at peace and with our Lord and we will take those memories that he so freely gave and let those memories help heal our hearts. Your in my prayers and thoughts.

Mike will be missed by many; I/we have lost a dear friend. I worked with MIke for 13 years and valued his caring, support, friendship and love for the land and resources. As important as his work and caring for the land was to him, his greatest love was for his wife Linda, his son, daughter and their spouses, and for his grandchildren. Mike’s eyes lit up whenever he talked about them and he kept pictures of them around him always!

I will never forget his creativity in trying to find ways to keep Jeb with him and Jude when I moved away. Or the jokes we played on each other in good fun. I also miss swapping lunches and especially Mikes homemade deep dish pizza!

I will miss talking to you my good friend…until we meet in heaven.

Linda, Holly, Matt and family, my deepest sympathy is with you for this time of separation…may you feel God’s arms surrounding you in peace and love as Mike is sitting by Jesus’ side.
