Sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. He and I used to hang around with the same group of kids at Gladstone High School, and enjoyed a lot of fun times together. Unfortunately, I hadn’t seen Mike in probably 40 years, and we kind of went separate ways after graduation, as all too often happens. My deepest sympathy to his family.

It was great to know Mike through our time working together at Brock Farms in Daggett. He always had a joke, and was truly a people person. He will be missed by myself, as well as many others at Northstar Cooperative. May God’s blessings shine down on his wife and daughter.

I met Mike only once, but he made an impression. He looked so handsome and natural atop his big John Deere tractor, on a beautiful summer day, when Karla gave me some vegetables from their lovely garden.

I’m sorry to hear of Mikes passing. I have fond memories of us as kids bailing hay,4-H club, and bringing calves to the U.P.fair.

Mr. Beauchamp would always wave to us when he went by on his tractor. We like to walk his running trails. He let us feed his chickens and sometimes get eggs from chicken nests. Mr. Beauchamp always talked to us, listened to us, and smiles. He was our friend and neighbor and we miss him.love, your little buddies, Sawyer & Cora Belongie (ages 5 & 3)

I’m sorry to hear about the loss of Mike. I really enjoyed his announcing style at the garden tractor pulls when I attended. Mike would share tidbits of information about the drivers and there tractors that otherwise wouldn’t be known.

I have some fond memories of Mike: pulling us on the hayride and pushing us on the barn swing at the kindergarten field trip, his great announcing at the tractor pulls, and seeing him drive his tractor around.
He is one of those guys we will always miss and wish he was still around with us.
My condolences to Karla and Melissa.
