2 Tributes for “Mary Suzanne DePuydt

Aunt Sue has always been one of my favorite people. I just loved Aunt Sue and Uncle Bud from the moment I met them. They left behind a wonderful family that I’m sure they are very proud of. I’m glad I can call them all cousins.

I’m so sorry to hear of your moms passing. I have many good memories of the beautiful house in Painesdale and the entire DePuydt family when visiting Dan. Sue was always so welcoming and helpful. When I was a beginning teacher at Jeffers High School, Sue offered to take her free time to certify me as a Water Safety Instructor. She decided to choose a very big strong student to work as my partner and demonstrate proper technique. He was a very strong swimmer and I was not. I had to finally tell him to give me a little slack, otherwise he would be saving me. I didn’t get a chance to look at Sue, but I’m sure was enjoying every minute. I was never so tired in my life, as when I finished that practical. I’m not sure how fond that memory is but I appreciated everything Sue did for me. I’m sure she is at Peace in Heaven. Gary
