Mary Alice Anderson, age 91, of 2300 Lakeshore Drive, died early Monday morning October 20, 2008, at the Christian Park Health Care Facility where she currently resided.
Mary was born December 25, 1916, in Escanaba, the daughter of Bernard and Bertha (Gnadt) Welter. She was raised in Escanaba and attended the Escanaba Senior High School. Following school, Mary was united in marriage to Bertil C. Anderson and together the couple made their home and began their family in Escanaba. Throughout her life, Mary was employed at the Fair Store, Scott Dairy, Venus Sewing and the Harnischfeger Corporation where she worked until her retirement in the 1980
