Marlene E. McCarthy, age 80, Delta County resident, currently living at Pinecrest Medical Care Center in Powers, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2016.
Marlene was born May 18, 1935 in Escanaba, the daughter of William and Edna (Swanson) McCarthy. She graduated from the Escanaba High School in 1954. She was a kind and loving person and her family and friends were very important to her. Marlene was catholic by faith and belonged to St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church for many years. She worked at Neisner

Marlene was such a special lady. My father was at Pinecrest and passed away two years ago. My father and Marlene would always eat together in the lunch room, and when we would visit she would be so excited to see us! Loved to goof around just like my father. They are now again enjoying each others company. The Mislinski Family
