Marlene A. Schroeder, age 83, of Rapid River, passed away Tuesday morning, November 19, 2019 at UP Health Systems Marquette. A full obituary will be forthcoming. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Schroeder family.

I met Marlene when our family joined Calvary Lutheran Church back in 1973. I was so fortunate to have been in the choir with her & well as being on the Altar guild together & our favorite activity was quilting on Friday with all the special women there.
I’m living in Tucson AZ permanently now since 2013; so I was only able to see her when I would visit in the summer time. We kept in touch with cards & phone calls. I will miss her deeply, she was such a wonderful woman.
