Madeline “Liz” Pratt, age 92 of Escanaba, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Bishop Noa Home in Escanaba.
Liz was born May 20, 1932 in Gladstone, MI the daughter of Walter and Alma (Sebeck) Lessard.
Liz attended and graduated from Gladstone Area Schools Class of 1950. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church and in her younger years enjoyed golfing. Liz loved playing bingo, camping with her family and spending her winters with her beloved husband, Conrad Prat, in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
Liz was united in marriage to Conrad Pratt on October 14, 1950. Together they shared 73 wonderful years together. Conrad preceded her in death on May 15, 2024.
Liz is survived by daughters, Joanne Pratt of Escanaba, Carol (Paul) Crowe of Escanaba and Sharon Heitman of Gladstone; brother-in-law, Larry (Lorrie) Pratt of Texas; grandchildren, Sally Heitman, Steven Heitman, Cole and Cody Crowe; great grandchildren Spencer and Jorja Heitman.
In addition to her parents and husband, Conrad Pratt, Liz is preceded in death by her son, Gary Pratt and brothers, Francis, Lloyd and Kenny Lessard.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 from 3:30 until 4:30 PM at the Skradski Family Funeral Home in Escanaba. Funeral services will follow at 4:30 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Escanaba. Liz will be laid to rest in the Lakeview Cemetery.
