Barb,
I was so sorry to hear about your Mom. I know you will miss her very much. She was such a big part of your life. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Talk to you soon.

My Sympathies to Lucille’s family and friends. I grew up next door to Gordy and Lucille in Rapid River and always remember playing my accordion for them on their front porch swing. Of course, Lucille always had a fudgesicle to pay me. But, how nice and caring she was to me was the sweetest treat of all. I will keep you and darling Lucille close to my heart during your period of loss.

Gordon Larsen was a submarine buddy of my husband, Edward Schmidt. We visited your folks in their lovely home in Rapid River and of course met with them thru our Navy years. Remembering them both fondly. I went to school with your Dad’s brother, Richard. He was always a good griend as well.

Dear Barb, Sheri, Todd, & Families,
I always enjoyed visiting with “Grandma” Lucille whenever I saw her. You are all in our thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.

Lu was such a special lady! She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them whenever she could. Her loved her independence as well! I will greatly miss visiting with her and laughing at her sense of humor.

One will never find a better friend and neighbor than Lucille and Gordy. I was privilaged to live next to them for almost twenty years. Years filled with their sharing and caring and warm friendship. They have a place in my heart forever.
