Lois A. Quinn, age 84, of Gladstone, passed away with her family by her side on Monday, February 12, 2024 at Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson in Iron Mountain.

Lois was born on July 21, 1939 in Wells, the daughter of Joseph and Diana (DeCaire) Gardner. She grew up in Wells and graduated from Holy Name High School in 1957. In December of 1958, Lois was united in marriage to Thomas Quinn and together they shared many wonderful memories until his passing in 2015. Lois worked for 23 years as a custodian in the Gladstone Schools, retiring in 1999.

Lois enjoyed reading, basket weaving, watching game shows every night, and old westerns. She also was a Gladstone Golf Course member and she enjoyed spending time golfing and playing cards with the ladies there. She even had a hole in 1. Lois was a devoted parishioner of All Saints Catholic Church in Gladstone. Most of all, Lois enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren. She will be lovingly missed by so many.

Lois is survived by her children Patrick (Becky) Quinn, Peter Quinn, Tom “Curly” Quinn, and Joe (Erica) Quinn; daughter-in-law Bonnie Quinn; brother Bernard “Chick” (Kathy) Gardner; sisters Carol Starnes and Roberta Ninichuck; grandchildren Kaylea and Erin Quinn, Ian (Rachel) and Owen Quinn, Gavin Scizak, and Jayger and Jared Quinn; great-grandchildren Ella, Evelyn, and Elias; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Diana; husband Thomas Quinn; brothers Wallace Gardner, Dave Gardner, Robert Gardner, and Roger Gardner; sisters Diane Delveaux and Jean Mileski; as well as numerous brothers and sisters in law.

Family will receive friends on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Mass of Christian Burial honoring Lois will be held at 1 PM at All Saints Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Brandon Yanni officiating. A luncheon will follow mass in the parish hall. Lois will be laid to rest in Fernwood Cemetery.

    Lois was a gentle soul. Full of love and such a giver. I will remember all the 4th of July picnics outside her house,Birthday parties with the kids, and she was such a joy to take care of in her later years. She was so proud of her sons and grandchildren. She has left quite a legacy behind. Hugs and prayers to u all. She will be missed

    We’re so sorry to hear of Aunt Lois passing. She was the last of that generation of Quinn’s. I guess that makes us officially the old people. There is sure to be a big reunion in heaven. Sorry we can’t be there for the funeral. Know that we’re thinking of you all. Tracy and Buzz

    Your Mom sure was a special lady. I’m glad I was able to spend some time with her at Julie’s. She is at peace now and may that give you all some peace too. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

    I am so sorry for your loss, Heaven is a wonderful place and she will be with her loving Husband. I took care of your taxes alot of years, thank you for the business, I miss you all.

    Aunt Lois was kind, hard-working and humble. An all around nice person. She will be missed. Sorry we can’t make the services. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.
