Lila (Sanville) Mackie, age 84, formerly of Gladstone passed away on Monday, November 18, 2013 at the Christian Park Health Care Center in Escanaba.
Lila was born April 13, 1929 in Trenary, Michigan, the daughter of Toivo and Helmi (Seppanen) Samanen. She was raised mostly in Watson and graduated from the Gwinn High School. Lila was united in marriage to Archie

My deepest sympathy to all of Lila’s family. I shall always remember her great smile and laughter. We were friends for a long time in school and after as we raised our families. I will miss her and regret not visiting her lately in our older years.
