Kristen Marie Stephens, age 28, of 1418 Wisconsin Avenue, Gladstone, MI passed away on Sunday January 23, 2011 at the St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba of natural causes.
Kristen was born September 14, 1982 in Midland, MI the daughter of Terry and Tina (Camps) Stephens. She was raised in Gladstone and in her youth she participated in cheerleading, basketball and softball. Kristen was a 2000 graduate of Gladstone High School. Following graduation Kristen worked as a Black Jack dealer in Hinckley, MN until she became ill and needed to return home. She was an avid Detroit Lions fan.

Kristen was my classmate and friend since grades school. Since graduating with her in the class of 2000 I had only seen her a handful of times. I was unaware of of any health problems and this news is very sad. Kristen was always very kind to me and she laughed at my stupid jokes.
