Kenneth William Charlebois, age 76, passed away Thursday evening, May 5, 2016, at the Iron Mountain V.A. Medical Facility due to a lengthy battle with cancer.
Ken was born February 14, 1940, in Escanaba, the son of William Joseph and Marieda (Hebert) Charlebois. He was raised in Escanaba and was a graduate of Holy Name High School. Following graduation, Ken enlisted in the United States Army Air Corp. where he served until his honorable discharge. On March 18, 2008, Ken was united in marriage to the former Catalina Dominguez, in the Philippines, and together the couple made their home in Rapid River. Ken enjoyed rock hounding, collecting rocks and minerals, picking blueberries, collecting antiques, reading and gardening.
