Kenneth Wayne LaVigne, age 91, of Gladstone passed away early Monday morning, October 13, 2025 at Transitions Assisted Living in Gladstone.

Kenneth was born on February 11, 1934 in Gladstone, Michigan the son of Leo and Bernadette (Stevens) LaVigne, Sr. He was united in marriage to Sharon (Balthazore) LaVigne on June 28, 1957.

Ken served his country in the Air Force for ten years with pride and dignity. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Ken loved to cook, fish, and hunt. He worked at Danley Machine in Cicero, Illinois for thirty years. He could not wait to retire and move back to his home town Gladstone, Michigan.

Children: Debra LaVigne, Sherry Jagues, Kenneth LaVigne Jr. April Hernandez (Gabino), David LaVigne (Deana)

Ken had twelve grandchildren and over twenty great grandchildren.

Brother: Leo LaVigne Jr.

Sister: Anne Monville

Ken is preceded in death by Brothers, Robert and Richard Lavigne and Sister, Margaret Walitalo. He is further preceded by Daughter, Jody Ton

Family will receive friends on Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 1:00 until 3:00 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Military Honors will conclude visiting hours at 3:00 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone.

    I didn’t know Kenny to well but only from the stories my grandmother (Flora Therrian Moore) told. I finally got to meet him visiting the homes in Gladstone when I moved back. I am sorry for your loss and many prayers for the Family. He was an awesome person and will miss his visits.
