Kay Marie Thomas, 59, of 825 South 26th street Escanaba passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2004 at the Marquette General Hospital, Hospice Suite at 6:52 PM.
She was born October 30, 1944 in Battle Creek, Michigan, daughter of Robert and Josephine (Ferrel) Cronk and was married to James P. Thomas July 20, 1966.Together they have resided in Escanaba for the past 10 years. She enjoyed traveling, decorating, embroidering, ceramics, making things for her grandchildren, spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed life each and every day and loved her church and reading the bible. Kay was a member of the Berean Baptist Church in Escanaba.
She leaves to survive her husband James; her Grandmother: Fern Shaw of Paw Paw, Mich., Mother and Father: Robert and Josephine Cronk of Paw Paw, Mich., 1 Son: Joseph Cutler of Adrian, Mich., 2 Daughters: Lori (Gary) Wozniak of Kalamazoo, Mich., Michelle (Martin) Botham of Grand Rapids, Mich., 1 Brother: Donald Blair of California, 3 Sisters: Linda (Mark) Gardner of Lawton, Mich., Janet (Ron) Bell and Susan (Tom) Wilson both of Paw Paw, Mich.. 10 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.
The Thomas family will receive friends on Saturday, March 20th from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Escanaba. Funeral services for Kay Thomas will be held at the funeral Home at 4:00 PM Saturday with Rev. Darin Kelsey of the Berean Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary
