Katrin L. Pottiger, affectionately known as Katie or Kate, age 68, passed away unexpectedly December 9, 2021, at her home following a brief illness.

She was born on July 27, 1953, in Escanaba, MI, the daughter of the late Clifford Mineau and Gertrude (Gamache) Mineau.
Katrin relocated to Halifax, PA in 2007 and married Halifax resident Keith Pottiger in August of that year. Katrin was most recently employed with Wal-Mart in Elizabethville, until her retirement in 2016. Katrin was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend. She enjoyed her computer games and helping with fundraisers at the Halifax Fire Department, where she was a member.

Katrin is survived by her loving husband, Keith, of Halifax; children: Tanya (Henry) Belongia of Gladstone, MI, Michelle (Keith) Casey of Millersburg, PA, and Jason (Jennifer) Burker of Marquette, MI; step-children: Cody (Dana) Pottiger of Halifax and Samantha (Ed) Hilbert of Williamstown, PA; beloved grandchildren Gabriel, Matthew, and Elizabeth Belongia, Noah Matter, Joshua, Kayla, and Lance Casey, Riley Burker, Natalie and Wyatt Hilbert, and Damien and Audrey Wolfe.

She is also survived by sisters: Roxann (David) Groll of Rapid River, MI, Melissa (Dan) Ward of Gladstone, MI, Barbara (Buzz) Busbani of Escanaba, MI, and Annette (Ted) Russell of Osier, MI; brothers: Charles (Helen) Mineau of Gladstone, MI and Jeff (Wanda) Mineau of Friendship, WI; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and her beloved fur baby Autumn.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers: George, Ronald, Donald, and Bobby.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 18 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Memorial services will be held at 12:00 PM with Pastor Henry Belongia officiating. A luncheon will follow at the Agape Ministries Church, 1420 Sheridan Road, Escanaba.
