Dear Joan,Tommie, and Joannie. So sorry we could not attend Your daughter and Mother’s funeral.even though we list touch whern you kids moved away and grew up , you have always been in our hearts. Watching you two grow up, and your mom struggling as she did to care for you was an inspiration to all of us neighbors. The last time we saw her was one day at the shopping center and she was with you Joanie. It was the loving care you showed to her that I will always remember. And Joan, you were a devoted Mother, I admired you for that. May God bless you and comfort you in your sorrow.

Karen touched my life as she did many and taught so many life lessons. I will miss our “girl talks”, her sense of humor and our gossip sessions but most of all her laugh that echoed throughout the halls. I will hold her memory in my heart.

My heart goes out to the entire Micks family, and for her 2 children, and grand-daughter Aleah. Your mom, sister, daughter, cousin, was a very extrodinary human being who touched the hearts of many, many people, including us, the staff of the Bishop Noa Home. And in your sorrow, you can be assured that by touching our lives for the last 3 years, we were privilaged to see the kind of love and kindness we would never of known without first meeting Karen. Thankyou Karen. Love to all of you, Julia Pryal R.N. Supervisor, Bishop Noa Home

I remember Karen as sweet loving person, wife and mother. She was loved by many the short time I was around Karen and Tom, little Tom and Joannie, prior to joining the military and making it a career. I have many found memories with them and the gang (Garry and Sue Derusha, Dan Anderson, and the Elisor brothers). My condolences to the family
