Justen David Martin, age 40, of Escanaba passed away at home of natural causes on November 2, 2020.

Justen was born July 29, 1980 in Escanaba, the son Sherman and Sharon (Derouin) Martin. He graduated from Escanaba High School and attended Bay de Noc Community College. He had a passion for cooking and worked in numerous restaurants in the area. He had a love for creative cooking, woodworking, fishing and caring for his exotic fish and aquariums. He also had a love for his family and friends and helping people with mental health and recovery.

Justen is survived his father, Sherman of Escanaba; brother, Brent Martin of Escanaba; nieces Riley and Rayne Martin and their mother, Crystal Martin; uncles, Lester Martin of Milwaukee, WI and Quentin Martin of Indiana; aunts, Joanne (Rod) Chapla of Escanaba and Mona (Richard) Noonan of Indiana and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon and his grandparents.

Private services will be held for the immediate family at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to the Delta Alano Club, 601 Michigan Avenue, Gladstone, MI 49837

    I’m so sorry for your loss- I still can’t believe that he is gone. He had so much love to give and absolutely filled up the world with it and all who knew him. He will be missed by MANY.
