I am so sorry to hear about June! She will be greatly missed! I have such fond memories of her, from when I would spend time with my grandparents (Vic & Betty) during the summer at Maywood Shores! She was always such happy & positive person. A true blessing to know!

Although I was very young, I fondly remember visiting my Great Aunt June and Uncle Charlie with my parents, Frank and Peg. My grandfather, also named Frank, was Charles’ brother. I will also never forget the wonderful surprise visit I made with my mother and family back in 1997…especially when Aunt June informed me that my last name was not really Elegreet because of the mixup at Ellis Island! We had a wonderful time, and I wish I was able to visit more often. My deepest condolences.

    Dick & Mary Sue…

It’s been many, many, years but I have wonderful childhood memories of a young and fun loving Aunt June (and her stalwart husband, “Uncle Chuck”, my father’s (Frank Elegreet) brother). She was only a “peanut” in size but truly a steel Magnolia…

    Dear Friends,

I was deeply saddened to learn about June’s passing. Nehi Hult let me know via an e-mail. Greg and I had many good times with your folks at Maywood. I will miss hearing from her at Christmas time. We always caught-up with each other at the end of the year. Again, my sympathy to all of you.
