June A. Dent, age 53, of Gladstone, MI passed away on November 24, 2019 at her home.

June was born October 26, 1966 in St. John’s, MI, the daughter of Robert and Shirley (Archer) Dent. She was a longtime member of Gladstone, and was well known in the community. June met her fiancé, Bill “Sid” Young, in Gladstone in 2008 and together they shared many memories.

June loved being outdoors. From camping, fishing, to having fires, she valued her time outside. She also enjoyed crafting and singing. June also loved spending time with her grandkids and they were a big part of her life. She will be deeply missed by so many.

In addition to her fiance Sid, June is survived by:
Daughters: Kristina Renaud, Monica Willis, and Kiesha Dent,
Mother: Shirley (Archer) Dent,
Brothers: Robert (Marcy) Dent and Russell (Billie) Dent,
Sisters: Roxane Dent and Sherry (Kevin) Smith,
Grandchildren: Owen Renaud, Robert Phalen, Brynlee Marenger, and Ted and Halie Goodsell,
And numerous nieces and nephews.

June is preceded in death by her father, Robert Dent, and her step-father, Don Lindner.

The Dent family will receive friends Monday, December 2, from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. A funeral service will follow at the Berean Baptist Church of Soo Hill at 5:00 PM with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
