Judith A. “Judy” Mackie, age 73, of 1609 Wisconsin Avenue, Gladstone, passed away Tuesday morning August 23, 2016 surrounded by family, at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, WI
Judy was born February 11, 1943 in Garden City, MI., the daughter of Lloyd and Eleanor (LaBurda) Johnson. Judy was raised in many areas including Japan, while her father served in the U.S. Army. Judy graduated from Custer High School in Milwaukee in 1962. She worked for Kmart and later Mead Paper in Escanaba, where she met the love of her life, Courtney Mackie.

Judy and Courtney were married on April 4, 1989 in Las Vegas, NV. It was rare to see one without the other, and their love for each other was obvious to all who knew them. Judy enjoyed working in her garden, traveling and going to the casino, always with Courtney by her side. Judy was filled with joy when spending time with family, especially their children and grandchildren.

Sons: Garin (Julie) Griebel of Onalaska, WI and Phil (Darci) Griebel of Gladstone

Step daughters: Cherie (Jerry) Drossard of Gladstone ,Christine (Harley) Bingham of Brampton and Daughter-in-law, Angie Mackie of Menominee

Sister: Jane (Larry) Bourgeois of Marinette, WI

Grandchildren: Drew, Bailey, Lilly and Joey Griebel

Step grandchildren: Jason Drossard, Dustin, Caylib and Savannah Mackie and Derek Lindahl and 3 great grandchildren.

Many extended family members, near and far, who loved Judy dearly.

In addition to her parents, her step-son, Courtney Jr. and step-grandson, Dwayne Feathers Jr. preceded Judy in death.

A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends at a later date, when Judy
