Judith (Judy) Ann (Syrek) Kenyon was taken from this earth to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 5, 2021 at the age of 78. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her earthly life and ultimately gave her peace.
Judy was born to the late Paul and Catherine (Nikodemski) Syrek in Grand Rapids, Michigan on February 10, 1943. Judy graduated from Catholic Central High School in 1960. Judy became a beautician and also worked for Michigan Bell Telephone.
Judy married the love of her life, Bruce, on July 1, 1961. Together they were blessed with three children. Judy adored her husband, children, and grandchildren. Judy loved to cook, ride Harleys, camp, and shop.
Judy is survived by three children: Ron (Cathy) Kenyon, Brian (Kathy) Kenyon, and Bridget (Terrance) Molag; three of her siblings Bob Syrek, Nancy (Syrek) Lemon, and David Syrek; 16 grandchildren: Jennifer, Timothy, Lisa, Scott, Julie, Victoria, Zara, Kara, Xavier, Cody, Cassidy, Laura, Benjamin, Emily, Elizabeth, and Madelyn; twelve great-grandchildren: Evihn, Caleb, Sorchal, Millie, Haven, Camilla, Adeline, Mia, Evelynn, Colson, Xena, and Rylan.
Judy was preceded in death by her son, Darryl; her brother, Paul Jr; and her parents Paul Sr. and Catherine.
Upon family request, no services will be held at this time. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting with arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.

Please accept my sympathy on Judy’s passing. I live in Negaunee and was a childhood friend of hers. She lived on Harlan, and we lived on the next street, Grand Ave. We attended the same grade school, church, and high school. My sister Emanel who lives in downstate Plymouth graduated with her brother David and remembers going to Highland Park with him. As young teens, Judy and I talked on the phone for hours. We grew apart when starting high school at Catholic central, with the huge class of over 500, and went on to new groups of friends. My husband Doug (now deceased) and I moved to the U.P in 2001. How I wish I’d known Judy was so near, as we may have been able to reconnect. Again, I’m so very sorry for your loss, and will pray for your family, and Judy’s soul.
Sincerely,
Gerry (Kobrzynski) Cameron
