Judith E. Rogers, age 75, passed away Monday morning, January 6, 2014, at her home in Escanaba.

Judy was born April 2, 1938, in Perkins, Michigan, the daughter of Wilbur and Everal (Larson) Oman. She was raised in Rapid River, where she completed her elementary education, before transferring and graduating from Escanaba Senior High School. Following high school, Judy was united in marriage to George Rogers and together the couple made their home and raised their family in Escanaba. Judy

    Ma Rogers! What a great person she was! Every day we would all go over to her house after school and weekends to see her when we were in high school. She was such a great person. Bob, you and your family are in my prayers.

    My deepest condolences to you Rhonda and Bob, I have many wonderful childhood memories of your Mom, she was truly a wonderful woman. You are in my thoughts and prayers, hold tight to her memories.

    Judy & George were special people. Pudgie was my brother, Bud’s, best friend for years. Bud helped make their cabin & if any family member wants some of those pictures, contact me. Terrian Family

    her a card, she’d end up sending me one also. Just
    a caring person. Thought the world of her. Kept
    saying my sister and I were coming to visit her, but
    unfortunately we didn’t make the time.
