Judith “Judy” Bizeau passed away on Thursday, September 10th, 2020 at OSF St Francis Hospital in Escanaba, with her family by her side. She was born in 1941 in Escanaba, to Rudy and Betty Gafner. She graduated from Holy Name High School in 1959. Judy married Richard “ Dick” Bizeau in 1960.

Judy loved her children and grandchildren. She loved to bake, knit and sew and also spend time watching family play ball.

She is survived by her children, Mike (Jodi) Bizeau of Escanaba, Brenda (Jim) Clark of Escanaba, Tony Bizeau of Escanaba, and Ann Marie Bizeau of North Carolina. She is also survived by 12 Grand Children and 12 Great Grandchildren.

Judy is also survived by her sister Tina (Keith) Jackson of Kalamazoo and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dick Bizeau, her parents Rudy and Betty Gafner, her brothers Rudy Gafner Jr. and Jim Gafner, and great grandchild Stella Phillips.

Mass of Christian Burial honoring Judy will be held on Wednesday, September 16th, at 1:30 PM at St. Joseph St. Patrick Church in Escanaba, with Rev. Fr. Tim Ferguson officiating. Judy will be laid to rest following mass at the Gardens of Rest Cemetery in Wells. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Bizeau family.

    I will remember you as you were on the day we met, over 50 years ago; so friendly, you offered a cup of coffee and a listening ear.
