Joyce L. Vincent, age 89, of Gladstone, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 8, 2020, at the Christian Park Healthcare Center in Escanaba.
Joyce was born January 27, 1931 in Escanaba, MI the daughter of Edlore and Isabelle (Elie) Patient. She grew up in Arnold, MI, and relocated to Gladstone after uniting in marriage to Raymond Vincent on June 30, 1948, in Northland, MI. Together they celebrated 70 loving years of marriage.
Joyce was a waitress for 30 years. She worked at Family Inn, The Dew Drop Inn, and The Village Inn. She enjoyed baking and cooking for everyone. She enjoyed trips to the casino, playing bingo, and playing cards.

And 3 Great Great Grandchildren

Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 4:00 PM at All Saints Catholic Church in Gladstone. Rev. Fr. Jamie Ziminski will be officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Gardens of Rest Cemetery.
The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Vincent family.

Although I have never had the pleasure of meeting this lovely lady, i know her daughter, Roleane and son in law, Jim, from their years of coming to Florida. Having recently lost my husband, i shard your lose and sorrow. Joyce lived a good life and know that her presence will be felt by all. Bless the family.

Oh the card games, oh the homemade Rye bread (was it Swedish?) oh the laughter Auntie Joyce will be remembered for. She and her sister, Jeannette (my mother-in-law) were a couple of diamonds in the jewelrybox of life. She was always giving and smiling and kind.
