Joyce E. Doucette, age 86, of 9917 U.65 Lane, Rapid River, MI died Saturday morning March 11, 2006 at the St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba surrounded by her family. For the past 3 years she had been a resident of the Bishop Noa Home in Escanaba. Joyce was born September 5, 1919 in Escanaba the daughter of Elmer and Belle (Kirkpatrick) Champion.
Joyce was raised in Escanaba and married Norman A.

    I want you to all know how much Joyce ment to me. I was her cystal but she was a good friend to me too. I will always love and miss her forever in my heart. Sorry I couldn’t make it to the funeral.

    Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Your mom was a special lady and always treated me so good. She always made me feel like she was happy to see me and thats special! We had some fun times together when we used to go snowmobiling and I too was always happy to see her. My condolences to your family.
