My dear friend Joyce, what an amazing woman of strength and faith. May the angles lead you to paradise. May the martyrs, greet you on your way.

Heaven certainly gained an angel when Joyce finished her life here on earth. I will always remember her kindness and generosity. My sympathies go out to her family.

Joyce D. My little spitfire and a toughy, stubborn and modest. I had the pleasure of being in her presence for her stay at Murray’s Country View. She was the light of my shift and oh did we have the laughs. She was so fun and id always ask her if she “stayed out fo trouble while I was gone?” She would say “no”, I’d say “are you lying?” She say “yes” and giggle. Of tickle her or pretend to fall on her and the laughter. She got a kick out of it. I will miss her deeply and am honored and would had taken care of her for 100 years or more to come, but unfortunately the good Lord had something better for her in store. Love you dup, I will miss you every day. Xoxo

I knew Joyce from the OSF Auxiliary. She always had a smile for everyone. And she loved to sell items in the gift shop. If one didn’t think they wanted to purchase anything—- Joyce would talk you into a purchase. She worked her magic on me several times. It was my pleasure to have known her.
