Joseph C. Allsworth Jr., age 89, of Gladstone, passed away early Saturday morning, July 22, 2017 at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility.
Joseph was born August 31, 1927 in Manistique, MI, the son of Joseph C. and Lucritia (Conarty) Allsworth, Sr. He was raised in Escanaba and was a small engines mechanic for many years. Joseph was united in marriage to Jeanne King on December 6, 1947. He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for several years.
Joseph enjoyed collecting guns and reloading his own ammunition. He was an avid reader of Western paperbacks and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Lorna Allsworth of Escanaba, MI

In addition to his wife, Jeanne Allsworth, Joseph was preceded in death by:

Family will receive friends Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. A memorial service will follow visiting hours at 4:00 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone with Elder Mike Balenger officiating. A luncheon will follow at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
