Jordan Steinhausen, age 27, of Gladstone, passed away unexpectedly at home on January 18, 2022.
Jordan was born on May 19, 1994 in Escanaba to Randy Steinhausen and Kimberly Geisenhaver. He was married to Jonna Royer-DeGraves on December 18, 2021. Jordan had many jobs including Northern Michigan Veneer and the Escanaba Country Club. He had just started a new job at Bugle Contracting the day before he passed. He enjoyed fishing and working on vehicles with his dad and his father-in-law, Frank. He absolutely loved playing with his son, Lincoln and making him laugh. He also enjoyed talking to his unborn child and playing board games with his wife. He took very good care of his family and was proud of the family that he made.
Jordan is survived by his wife, Jonna; his son, Lincoln, his son due in May and also Karsen Steinhausen, from a previous relationship; his mother, Kim Geisenhaver; father, Randy (Heather) Steinhausen; brother, Jake Steinhausen (fiancé Victoria Williams), half brothers, Randy Steinhausen III and Nicholas Royer, half sister, Samantha Monroe; father and mother-in-law, Frank and Sue Royer; brother-in-law, Ben Royer; niece, Evelynn Steinhausen; grandparents, Sue Lanaville, Trish Tatrow, Randy Steinhausen (Carol Booth-Sweet), Howard Geisenhaver (Cathy) and Roger Lanaville and aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jim Tatrow, great grandparents, Dick and Cleo Hermès and great grandmothers, Ruby Dahl and Dorothy Choulliard.
Family will receive friends on Friday January 28, 2022, from 2:00PM to 4:00PM, at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Funeral services will follow visiting hours, at 4:00PM on Friday, at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone, with Pastor Tim Haugen of Grace Church and Rev. Fr. Timothy Ferguson of St. Joseph St. Patrick Church, officiating. A luncheon gathering will be announced following funeral services.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Jordan’s wife and children for unexpected expenses.
