Sorry to hear of Ken’s passing but know he was ready as per our visit with him on September 29th. We were so surpised he knew us and reminised about many past memories!!
I remember Kenny working for my father at Olson’s Men’s Wear, coffee at Katy’s Dinette in Gladstone and Jack’s in Rapid River. I walked from our cottage to his store on 513 to purchase candy many times. He always had a smile whenever you saw him and it will be missed.

Dear Jim, Alice, and family,
We were saddened to learn of the death of Uncle Ken. We have so many fond memories of “coffee at Jack’s” with Ken and his friends and family members. I regret that we cannot be in Rapid River to personally convey our sympathies, but, please know of our presence in spirit and in prayer. Know, too, of our fondest best wishe and greetings to you and your family. With warm personal regards,

Uncle Kenny –
I miss you so much already, but knowing that you and Aunt Lima are together makes it easier. Thank you so much for helping my dad at the gas station and especially when you pumped my gas. I guess it will be ok if I tell my dad that I never paid for my gas on those days!! I also loved it when my dad would bring you home for lunch ? having you there was awesome!! One more thing, thank you so much for being at my wedding; having you and Aunt Lima there meant a lot to me. Thanks again for everything you’ve done for my parents, my siblings and me, and also for my nieces and nephews. You will never be forgotten. I love you!

Words cannot express what I have felt the past few days knowing you are not with us anymore. I am at ease knowing you are in a much better place. Just know that I will never forget a single time spent with you!
Love,

Uncle Kenny,
I just wanted you to know how much I love you and miss you already. I know you are where you have wanted to be for the past couple of years . . . with Aunt Lima. I know you have been sooooo lonesome for her. Thank you for everything you have done for us kids, and especially for all the help you have given my dad at the gas station over the past 40 years. We really appreciated it. You are a special man who will never be forgotten.
