Mr.Clouser was my principle at Maine East. In 1978 Mr.Clouser had hall monitor detail at lunch. I’m certain he chose the post. He genuinly enjoyed the students. My friend & I enjoyed our daily 10-15 minutes with him. We gave Mr.Clouser our fashion tip that he used. He frequently wore a vest with his suits. It was buttoned top to bottom. We suggested, leave the bottom button un-done. Many wore vest like that. He liked the idea and wore his vests like that from then on! I hope he was able to enjoy his retirement. A kind, warm gentleman. My prayers are with the Clouser family.

    Helen–
I just learned of John’s passing this evening and wanted to extend my condolences. I was very fortunate to work for him at Maine East. He always treated me so well, as he did everyone I knew. I hope that fond memories will sustain you in the days ahead. Sincerely,

Dear Aunt Helen, I am thinking of you, wishing I could give you a hug and hear more about your life with John and celebrate his life with you. You two have done so much together. I enjoyed my chats with John and was so glad when you moved back to Upper Michigan to be near your brothers, sister and all the family. John just seemed to enjoy the crazy birthday parties, etc. the family had. I know you will miss him. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. With Love, Your Niece, Barbara

Aunt Helen, I wanted to express my condolences to you. I remember Uncle John as a man who was always interested in what was going on in the lives of others around him, giving words of encouragement as needed. He will be missed. I only regret that I have not been to visit the two of you as often as I should have. Please know that you are in our prayers.
