She was my sister, my godmother, my friend. I have my childhood memories of visiting her & her family during school vacations, and my “grown-up” memories of visiting with my family and of her & her family visiting at my home. Most of all, the trips we took with our mom, then later, just the two of us, and lastly, a fun-filled trip with our daughters. So much fun, so many treasured memories.”I love you Jan and will miss you always.”

To Joan’s family.
We want to tell you how sorry we were to hear about Joan. She bowled on our league for a long time and everyone enjoyed her sense of humor and willingness to be everyone’s friend. She will be missed by all.

As a child and an adult, my visits with my Aunt Jan were always looked forward to. I knew that there would be a lot of laughter. The best memory is of the trip that we took to Kentucky and Tennessee and how much she laughed about Tracy and Doris’ “accident” and the “presents” that Tracy and I put into Doris’ luggage.

Well, Mom, I am proud to be the first one to leave a tribute to you. You were the best! You always set a good example for us. You never complained, you always put us first, you were always there for us. We could not have asked more of you, and you would not have hesitated to give more. God bless you in your new home. Give Dad our love, and have the best Christmas ever in heaven! We love you and miss you …..will forever. All my love, Dor
