Jeannette Marie Pepin Mosier Hickcox, age 94, of Escanaba passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at the St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba.
Jeannette was born December 12, 1920 in Kipling, MI, the daughter of Antrine and Eva (Fournier) Pepin. Jeannette loved to bowl. She bowled at least twice a week for various leagues for many years and received several patches and awards. She enjoyed the outdoors, feeding and watching the birds, dancing, spending time with family and friends and traveling. She also worked for many years at the Stone House and Terrace Bay Inn Restaurants.
Jeannette is survived by her daughter, Sharon Brookhouse of Escanaba; son, Glen Mosier of Escanaba; granddaughter, Vanesa Mosier, great grandchildren, Jason and Jade; sister, Hazel Gillis of Gladstone; brother, Robert “Chisel” (Elaine) Pepin of Gladstone and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Hickcox, her parents, four brothers, Norman, Fritz and Raymond Pepin and Donald Erickson, two sisters, Violet Hanson and Pearl Walsh, son-in-law, Joseph Brookhouse and daughter-in-law, Lucretia Mosier.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 14 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Skradski Family Funeral Home in Escanaba. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Fr. Emmett Norden officiating.

Jeannette had old-fashioned manners and graciousness. She told me wonderful stories about growing up with so many brothers and sisters. She has a special birthday, 12/12/20, and loved the song, If I can make it until December, I wish she had. I miss her sitting at my table at Pine Haven, and I miss seeing her smiling face and beautiful white hair. She was a lovely lady.
