Jason Brazeau, 40, of Gladstone, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away surrounded by family at Butterworth Spectrum Hospital in Grand Rapids, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

As written above Jason loved hunting camp, for many years Jason and his brother Josh would not even go home for Thanksgiving dinner. But they would come and join us at our camp down the road for Thanksgiving dinner after the evening post. Always a joy to feed hungry hunters ! Many hugs and prayers to you all .

I can probably bet you’re in the “Rock” of Heaven hunting right now. Your family is going to miss you so much. I’m proud of the Uncle you became and how good you were to my kids. You will be missed so much. I can only hope I can hold myself together enough to help take care of your brother during this difficult time. RIP Jason

It’s still hard to believe that it’s actually real. Jay was such a good friend to so many people, and I know that we are still hurting from this tragedy. Jay was not just my high school sweetheart; he was my friend, my mentor, my protector, my comic, my fishing buddy, my driver, my softball fan, my camping partner, my babysitting pal, my hunting instructor, my ATV trainer, my philosopher, and most of all, my heart ❤️
I miss him dearly. It was not his time to go. My thoughts will continue to be with Jill, Bill, and Joshy and I pray for you all daily . His memory will always live on!
