Janet Pandora Gagnon, age 71, passed away Tuesday evening, September 24, 2019, at her home in Gladstone, following a lengthy battle with ovarian cancer. Her loving family was by her side.
Janet was born June 11, 1948, in Escanaba, the daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Bunno) Spevacek. She was raised in Brampton and was a 1966 graduate of Gladstone High School. On November 28, 1973, Janet was united in marriage to Arnie Gagnon and together the couple made their home and raised their family in Gladstone. Janet and Arnie shared many years of wonderful memories together.
Janet loved to drive her little yellow Volkswagen Bug with the eyelashes. She had a brief love for the game of tennis and enjoyed going to bingo, shopping, buying trinkets, going to camp, , attending family gatherings, spending time with family and friends and spoiling her grandchildren. Janet was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be sadly missed by all who love her.
In addition to her husband Arnie, Janet is survived by:
Sons: Cory (Angela) and Jamie (Melaine) Gagnon
Grandchildren: Kayton, Laci, Skylar, and Breanna
Janet’s parents, William and Dorothy preceded her in death

I cried when I read this, I am sure all the family has heavy hearts. But the Lord needed a Special Angel, no one else would fit His need but Jan! I am so sorry you had to loose your wonderful, loving and full of fun wife, Mother, Grandmother, she is now out of pain, and welcomed to Jesus’ loving arms. We will miss her, always.. she was one of a kind.. her humor was so genuine, and funny. I will always Love her as I love all of you… the saddness will overcome all of us; but we realize it is best that she is no longer suffering.. My love to you all.. Arne, Cory (Angela) Kayton, Jamie (Melanie) & Children..

Words cannot express my sadness of losing a very special friend. We lived 2 hours apart and we didn’t keep in touch much during our years of raising our families, Pandy, you always had a very special place in my heart.
I could sit and think of the MANY FUN times we had together (which I did the other night & despite the thought of your passing, the memories brought smiles to my face.)
You were a very special gal and my life has been blessed to have been able to call you my FRIEND.
God Bless Arnie and your family.
RIP my friend
