Janet Ann Bussineau, 62, passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, September 2. She had suffered chronic health issues for many years which were recently compounded by a brief illness. Her death came as a tragic shock soon after being taken to OSF St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba by ambulance.
Janet is survived by her mother, Lois Bussineau of Flat Rock, two younger sisters, Diane (Roger) Hall of Flat Rock and Sandy (Jerry) Ammel of Hermansville, niece Dani Ammel of Portland, Oregon, and nephews Luke and Nick Ammel of Marquette.
Also surviving are myself, Janet’s daughter Rebecca Bussineau, and the light of the last four years of my mom’s life, her granddaughter Amelie SueAnne Doran. We are blessed to remain for now in the Escanaba home we shared with Gramma Janet.
Preceding her in death were her father, Lawrence Bussineau as well as several Aunts and Uncles.
To all those who knew and loved her; I’m sure you’re as shocked by her death as we are in her family.
As per what I believe her wishes would be, there will be no public memorial service. We thank you for all your thoughts
and prayers.
