2 Tributes for “James Robert Jackson

John, Janet and Elaine….I’m sitting here in shock and sorrow upon reading that Jim has passed away. We are in Florida or Dolly and I
would surely be there in person to extend our very deep condolences. Jim was a very special person who we’ll always remember for his great sense of humor and great common sense as well. I can’t seem to find Jan or John’s e mail addresses. I hope you will receive this and know you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
    Love and Hugs,

A very long time ago I went with my friend John Jackson to do a little fishing with his father, James in the U.P. I don’t remember catching any fish but it was a very pleasant afternoon on the lake. John kept it interesting by his unique casting style which involved yelling the word “DUCK” as a warning to keep your head down. James was calm as a cucumber but I was worried about getting my ears pierced with each cast.
