James D. Riley, age 63, of Rapid River, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at his home with his family by his side.
James was born on January 24, 1961, in Connecticut, the son of Bernard and Marcella (Barnes) Riley. James worked for most of his life as a manager for Great American Disposal. The pride of his life was his children and grandchildren. He will be missed dearly.
James is survived by his loving wife Ann; children Erick (Kayla) Riley, Tami (Chris) Autio, and Terra Riley; grandchildren Alexis, Laila, Jackson, Addilynn, Triston, Kyra, and Isla; granddogs Buda and Achilles; siblings Shawn Riley, Paula Fogle, Cindy Fogle, Cheryl (Bobby) Fogle; numerous nieces and nephews; and beloved dog Chewi.
James is preceded in death by his parents; brother KC Riley; sister Bunny Riley; and brother-in-law Kenny Fogle.
In accordance with his wishes, private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
