James Edward Deneau, age 70, of Escanaba passed away, Saturday, June 30, 2012 at the Christian Park Village in Escanaba.
James was born August 22, 1941 in Escanaba, the son of Lawrence and Mary (Maki) Deneau. He served his country proudly in the United States Army from 1959-1966. On May 23, 1962 he was united in marriage to Betsy Frizzell in Gladstone . James worked as a welder and truck driver for the Harnischfeger Corporation until his retirement in 1982. He enjoyed hunting, the outdoors, and raising hogs, geese, chicken and turkeys.
James is survived by his wife, Betsy of 50 years; two sons, Steven (Debra) Deneau and Thomas Deneau, both of Grand Rapids, MI; four daughters, Billie Jo (James) Blair of Marne, MI, Bobbie Tilot of Gladstone, MI, Becky Deneau of Escanaba, MI and Brandy (fiance
