I’m sorry to hear of your loss. Irene was a special lady. Please accept my condolences for your family. Carrie and Ann, I always knew you as little girls and sisters to my children. Ann, I was touched to see you and your husband at my son’s memorial. My thoughts and prayers will be with The Yirsa family.

So sorry for your loss, When I hear the name Irene Yirsa I think back of years ago of bowling . and what a Great bowler she was, my Mom (Mary Wilcox ) would always include her name when they were talking high games. And from what I can remember Irene set the bar pretty high for the league. May she rest in peace, and when you hear the next thunder storm…….well you will know what she is up to., take care.

I remember Irene and John well. I was lucky to have known them both. She made the most beautiful sweater jackets for my little boys. For Justin and Spencer. John was an incredible fisherman. When it comes to Billiards, John is a Legend. Trophys are named after him. Gary and I were there the day he passed. We went to their home afterward.I wish that I could have been there when Irene left this world. I wish I could have held her hand. Irene was very kind, very proper, a genuine Lady. And so was John a True Gentleman.

Rest in peace, Grandma. You are with God, your husband and Jim. I’m sure your entire family is welcoming you with open arms as you pass through the pearly gates. I will think of you, each time I use the beautifully knitted afgans you gave me through the years. Thank you for some wonderful childhood memories at your house in Kipling.

Grandma, I will miss you dearly. I realize now more than ever how special it was to be able to spend my childhood years around you. I remember you telling me stories, while I listened intently sitting in my favorite orange chair, as you knitted in yours. You taught me everything I know about bowling, which I’ve enjoyed ever since. Every time I hear your name, I can taste your plum dumplings and peanut butter fudge like it was yesterday. I will miss your witty personality most of all. My Mother and I will always have you in our prayers. Love Always, Carrie and Lois

Auntie I am the Granddaughter of your twin sister Mary whom I loved dearly and very close to my heart. I sure miss your laugh and messing with grandma on the phone I spent alot of time with grams and I would hear you on the phone you had a voice know one would forget.I am glad Uncle Paul and I got to spend time with you and Uncle John before he passed at the convalescent home.He could tell wonderful stories we so much enjoyed the visit.
