My thoughts and sympathy are with you. My sister and I used to go with our mother when she took Grandma Girard to visit Auntie Ione, and we have had several telephone conversations over the years. I always admired Auntie Ione?s neat and orderly manner and the stories she told me about taking care of her family.

I used to deliver meal on wheels and that’s how I first met Mrs. Whitburn. I had to quit, but we remained friends. She was a very special lady to me. She will be greatly missed. Although I was busy and didn’t get a chance to visit very often, she was always in my thoughts and prayers. She knew and understood. That’s the kind of person she was to me. She always told me how much she enjoyed my cards and letters. She will always hold a place in my heart.

My deepest sympathy goes out to her family. May God comfort you now and always. She’s finally at rest with the Father. May knowing this ease the loss.

My Mom, Bernita {Girard} Waeghe, asked for me to leave a message of sympathy to the Family of her sister, Ione. Bea, is the youngest of the 9, children, and Ione was the oldest, the cool thing about that is, they chatted on the phone when Aunt Ione had her birthday in January of this year of 2008!! Family Ties!! Mom is sad, but talked highly of her sister, and her Family. Bea sends her Love, with everlasting memories!

I, myself only met Aunt Ione a couple of times, when I was very young, and I think that was at Grandma & Grandpa’s house in Gladstone when they were celebrating an Anniversary. 60th?

I see that all of you now live in Wisconson, where your Mom, and her Parents were originally from. Are Ya Packer Fans??? We have a cousin who played for the Green Bay Packer’s!!! Jug Girard! Check it out!!

Family, My sympathy is with you also. Alway’s remember the story’s the Parent’s told us, cuz it leaves an everlasting glow in your Heart.
