Hope Amanda Deneau, age 70, of Rapid River passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at the St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba.
Hope was born July 7, 1953 in Rapid River, the daughter of Lester and Beatrice (Wisswell) Duncan. She was involved with the Rapid River American Legion Post 301 Auxiliary for many years. She took great pride in sending her husband, Roger, to Washington DC on the Honor Flight. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, her Pepsi in a glass bottle and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Hope is survived by her daughters, Tammy Ann Julian of Houston, TX, Connie (Sam) Johnson of Carney, MI and Jennifer (Rick) Gagnon of Ford River, MI; grandchildren, Trevor (Marie), Tiffany, Brent (Sabrina), Trent, David, Jared, Paul and Katie; five great grandchildren; her brother, Lester (Pat) Duncan of Cornell, MI, nieces, a nephew and her cat, Vicky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Deneau, her parents and her brother, Daniel Duncan.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, November 1 at 2:00 PM at the Congregational Church in Rapid River. Hope will be laid to rest in the Rapid River Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to the family.
The family is being assisted by the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone.

So sorry to hear about. Hope I have known hope all my life we were kids together. She had a beautiful heart and soul. I will surely miss her. I thought the world of her. I will miss the hugs and kisses on the cheek every time we seen each other, the world lost a beautiful individual rest in peace.
