Harvey J. Beauchamp, 87, of 9033 Stagecoach Q.5 Avenue, Gladstone, died Tuesday afternoon June 15, 2004 at the Lakeview Assisted Living facility in Gladstone.
Harvey was born September 26, 1916 in Perkins the son of Joseph and Elda (Pilon) Beauchamp who preceded him in death. He was raised in Perkins and graduated from Rock High School. Following graduation, Harvey worked at Gibbs store in Perkins. On October 12, 1938, Harvey married his wife, the former Alice Heynssens, in Flint, MI. Following their marriage, Harvey and Alice moved to Perkins and resided there until 1942 at which time they relocated to the Milwaukee area. The couple lived in Milwaukee until 1972 before finally relocating to Gladstone where they resided for the remainder of their lives. Harvey enjoyed working in his yard and playing cards. He was a member of All Saints Church and volunteered many hours of his time for the St. Vincent de Paul society.

Also surviving are 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Joseph and Elda, Harvey is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Alice and 1 sister, Marge Sindt.
Family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Funeral Service celebrating the life of Harvey Beauchamp will follow visitation at 1:00PM with Rev. Fr. Arnold Grambow of All Saints Church officiating. A luncheon will be provided following funeral services at the All Saints Church Parish Hall. Committal service for Harvey will be at 3:00PM at the Gardens of Rest Cemetery in Wells. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta are assisting the Beauchamp Family with arrangements.
