Harold “Herc” Pettey, age 67, passed away early Sunday morning, October 29, 2017, at his home in Rapid River.
Herc was born on October 18, 1950, the son of the late Royce and Ione (Belleville) Pettey. He was a lifelong resident of Rapid River and was a 1969 graduate of Rapid River High School. Herc proudly served in the United States Army in the Korean War. Herc and his partner of 22 years, Dena Beaudion, made their home and raised their family in Rapid River. Herc was one of a kind with a big heart and great sense of humor. He will be deeply missed.
In addition to his loving partner, Dena, Herc is survived by:

Sister: Pamela (Mark) Ches
Step sons: Nicholas and Jeremy Beaudion
He was preceded in death by his parents, Royce and Ione:
Brother: Ronald (Anne) Pettey
Sister: Judith Reimer
A celebration of life with family and friends will be held at the convenience of Herc’s family.
