Greta C. McIntyre

Greta C. McIntyre, age 90, of Escanaba, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Hospital surrounded by family.

Greta was born November 3, 1931, in Edinburgh, IN, the daughter of Harve and Betty (Mitchell) Hemphill. She was raised and attended school in Edinburgh where she graduated with the class of 1949.

Greta Hemphill was united in marriage to John W. McIntyre on September 5, 1958 in Edinburgh, IN. He preceded her in death on August 14, 1991.

Greta enjoyed reading books, crocheting, crossword puzzles and spending time with family.

Greta is survived by:
Son: Dave McIntyre of Escanaba, MI
Grandson: Tim (Kelly) McIntyre of Escanaba, MI
Great Grandchildren: Delaney and Brady McIntyre and Reagan.
Several Nieces and Nephews of Indiana
Special Friends: Maxine Brown of Rockville, IN and Barbara Harney of Rockville, IN

In addition to her Parents and Husband, Greta is preceded in death by:
Daughter-in-law: Barbara (Brown) McIntyre
Sisters: Evelyn Lucille Richards, Lenora Estep and Mary Flaggher all of Edinburgh, IN

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Greta will be laid to rest in the Memory Garden Cemetery in Rockville, IN. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the McIntyre family.
