Gregory J. Clausen, age 52, of Rapid River, passed away early Tuesday morning, July 16, 2024 at his home.
Greg was born on December 3, 1971 in Escanaba the son of Edward Clausen and Karen (Johnson) Pickard. He attended and graduated from Gladstone Area Schools.
Greg was united in marriage to Chanda Spriks on October 31, 1996.
A true outdoorsman, Greg loved fishing and hunting. He enjoyed cutting firewood, riding his side by side and going kayaking with his wife. Greg enjoyed drinking his PBR. He also enjoyed cross country skiing and spending his time down by the river. He was a union painter with local union 1011.

Brother-in-law: Derrick Spriks
Greg is preceded in death by Victor and Myrtle Johnson and Blaine and Jayne Clausen and a Granddaughter, Kennedy Clausen.
A celebration of life will be held at the Rapid River Lions Club on August 10, 2024 from 3:00 until 7:00 PM. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Clausen family.
