My sincere condolences on the passing of Ed … he was a terrific boss during my employment at Birds Eye from 1956-58. If I recall correctly, he was a cousin to the Lee brothers as well. Mayme Ehnerd, Marian Nye, Helen Westerberg and I were his direct reports, and he treated us fairly and with kindness, always. I am truly impressed with the history of his long life, and that he was an avid reader of God’s Holy Word, as I have been a born-again Christian all my life. I recall both Jim and Nancy coming to the office on occasion and having met you, Ruth, as well.
May God comfort you throughout the coming days/weeks/months/years with the knowledge that you were blessed by Ed’s life!
